The kitchen at GEC is staffed by two cooks who have been certified by the minister of Agriculture, Pecheries et Alimentation of Quebec. They make all the food for the children of the daycare in house. Our menu adheres to the Canadian Food Guide published in 2020. The menu is a rotation of 4 weeks; which starts in September and ends in June, then a summer menu is started for the remainder of the year.
At the daycare, children are given 2 snacks a day, a lunch, and have the possibility of having breakfast in the morning for the cost of 1$ for each use.
